Theme Basket Auction
Theme baskets are a fun way for you and your family to be creative and provide enjoyment for others who will buy your basket.

Don't be afraid of using something other than a basket for your container.. you can use buckets, vases, tubs, cases, etc.

Sometimes, it's fun to adorm your basket with a basket title and a tag that describes your basket and its contents.

How do I get Started?

• Take a look at these ideas
• Get your family together and do some brainstorming
• Pick your 'theme'
• Decide on the items that you will put in the basket
• Assemble your basket. Attach a 3x5 card with basket theme, items in the basket and value of the basket
• Drop off you basket by Saturday afternoon in the St. Mary's Great Hall.
  

• Candle lovers: candles, matches, candle snuffer, classical audio tape
• Golf basket: balls, tees, golf towel, peanuts, wine – all put in a range basket
• Breakfast Basket: pancake batter, maple syrup, kitchen tools, coffee, teas –put in a large mixing bowl
• Kiss the Cook Basket: kitchen tools, dishtowel, pot holders, muffin tins, spices or decorative toppings
• Tea Lovers: teas, tea cups, special spoon, honey, gourmet cookies, infuser
• Coffee Lovers: small coffee samples, mugs, chocolate covered spoons, liquor, biscotti
• Baby Basket: bottles, bibs, thermometer, stuffed animal, socks, etc…
• Baby Bath: hooded towel, baby shampoo, lotions, powder, comb, brush, bath toy – all wrapped up in a baby bathtub!
• Gardeners Basket: trowel, seeds, gloves, gardener’s soap or lotion, - put in a galvanized watering can or Large planter
• Chocolate Lovers: you name it
• Pasta Lovers: pasta fork, sauce, pasta, wine, breadsticks, flavored oil
• Ice Cream Lovers: scoop, sprinkles, long spoons, ice cream dishes, fudge sauce, gift certificate for ice cream
